Tv; cable and satilitte are the biggest spenders on lobbyists for adding restrictions – next comes the entertainment industry as #2. They know what’s going on, what the future looks like and what customer’s want. They are determined and expect to change the customer = making average things average people do, illegal. Do it. With the way ACTA is failing in the EU, I bet it wouldn’t be hard to block the US (and I’m in the US). The US is dependent on foriegn trade to survive and many need a wake up call to pay attention to this stuff.
I think it’s insane to pay for a global unwinnable endless “whack-a-mole” war at taxpayer expense.
From the sounds of this, it’s only the beginning. You can be sure even if Sweden caves on this – more restrictions will be coming. Someone wants to own the air you breathe and the water you drink. Count on it.
