Sorry Blockbuster, But I love P2P

Here’s a message to Blockbuster, one of the largest chains of movie rental stores in the world. It’s an original way to cancel you membership.

Apparently the store is closed, I wonder why…

original, but still graffitti. encouraging this just leads to more vandalism.

good message considering Spain recently passed strong anti-p2p laws.

Hardly something photoshopped, when it’s definitely not something hard to do.

I’m love P2P too. It’s future. And it’s community responce to bastardized protections schemes and crappy business models violating legal customer rights.I’m thinking attempt to use racket and repressions as marketing tools is about to fail.Nobody wants restrictions, annoying advertisings and all other crap for his moneys.I’m want content itself at reasonable price.Keep damned DRM stuff, advertisings and and other “bonus” crap to yourself.Othervice I’ll just pirate your content.Once content producers do not want to be fair with customers, why we, customers should be fair with content producers then?

We shouldn’t encourage an act of pure vandalism!

Well said on the content producer fairness. Makes perfect sense. Long live p2p.

Nope, that’s false, and it was all mass media bullshit.
It’s still legal to download music and Videos as long as you don’t sell them or make any economical profit.
I wonder Why concert assistances grew and 80% the last 4 years… why could it be?
Maybe because P2P helps the music to spread around and to discover new bands?… :P

PD. I’m from spain.

Blockbuster has close in whole Spain. Some months ago as video rent is not profitable in this country, due to P2P success here.

I think that it is a funny painting too.
But here, in Spain, Blockbuster has recently left the business due to piracy, which sank their dvd rental rates. So, there is no glory in making a painting on a window shop of a closed down business.
But as I firstly said, it is still funny.
