Speed Up Your BitTorrent Transfers by 500%! Only on TorrentFreak!

Written by enigmax on November 28, 2007

Following a breakthrough discovery of hidden potential in the BitTorrent protocol, we bring the news that you are probably not getting anywhere near the best from your torrent client. Discover how to increase your BitTorrent transfers by 500%!! Only available today on TorrentFreak!

Dear TorrentFreak Friend,

Have you ever wondered if it’s truly possible to be able to download up to 500% faster then you currently are? If it’s actually possible to increase your download speeds?… Well truth is that it’s very easy to optimize and tweak your Torrent Client so that you can boost and increase download speeds by up to 500% faster.

Just look how happy this guy is with his purchase!

HappyTorrent

Just for today, you can get this great product for just $17!!

Oh, come on….aren’t you interested? No? Not a little bit?

Truth is, lots of people are interested in paying for free stuff, offered by sites such as highspeedtorrent.com. This site uses lots of flashy talk to trick the BitTorrent novice into believing that it holds the secrets to super-fast torrents - but it in the end it charges each person $17 for a few guides, easily available for free right here on TorrentFreak.

But surely not many people fall for paying for this sort of ’service’? Well, in fact, that’s an emphatic YES, unfortunately they do. Even with sales talk like this:

Never Again Will A Sale So Kick Ass, So Downright Brilliant, So Disgustingly Good, So Nauseatingly Appealing , And So Unbelievably Cheap, Will Ever Happen Again.

The owner of High Speed Torrent is looking to sell his site and quite profitable it seems too, at a claimed $4000 takings each month. Maybe it’s an over-estimate by an enthusiastic admin in order to get a better return - after all, surely you can’t make money from freely available guides?

Take a look at High Speed Torrent’s PayPal payments received account, hosted on their own site for the benefit of prospective buyers - you decide if it’s profitable or not.

In the meantime, help yourself to some of our guides, hints and tips. There’s 20 more of the best right here.

Keeping it free with TorrentFreak ;)

Maybe one of these days people will realize if you download from private registered sites instead of public torrent indexers you can download at 2.5MB/s like me. Beats 8hrs, retards.

wow people are so biased against comcast…their logic is reasonable to want to cap the download (which i’ve never hit no matter how many versions of Linux i used to download btw) stop fucking whining about evil corporations stopping illegal activity and get some intellegence.

@ the story:
wow, a software to download illegal software that you don’t want to pay for, that you have to pay for.

Greeeeat idea dipshit, if people dont have a problem with downloading 3000 dollar adobe programs illegally i doubt they will pay for yours either…
This is retarded, if you don’t know enuff to properly configure your client, you suck and shouldn’t even use torrents as you are putting yourself and everyone else at risk by being a moron that doesn’t know how to configure or secure a client.
Uh, then how do you suggest anyone learn HOW to properly use torrents? Should they be born knowing? All, kidding aside, of course. Get serious. Just because you know, doesn’t mean you can’t help others learn. People like this poster just like to ego trip…

Uh, then how do you suggest anyone learn HOW to properly use torrents? Should they be born knowing? Osmosis? Divine intervention? All, kidding aside, get serious. Just because you know, you like to flaunt it and pretend that you just instinctively knew how. Help your fellow man out and spread the knowledge. Oh, wait. You are probably one of those people that just likes to ego trip. Hmm, kind of like the people that run the RIAA. Interesting how that is…

This has to be a joke. This is only for the lamest fucking warezkiddies I suppose.

But then again 350Mbit/s would be nice (I have 100/10 Mbit/s fiber going at about 70Mbit/s).

omfg no way!! spiderman 3 in 25 minutes? i wish i could do that, it took me 7 hours to download just ONE episode of queer eye for the straight guy. i’ll pay 17 dollars any day if it means faster opera downloads!!

60 Nov 29, 2007 at 09:39 by aitb

i download a movie in 2-3 minutes :D

61 Nov 29, 2007 at 10:00 by anon

Shouldn’t they be arresting these guys? It’s an admission of piracy claiming to DL a movie in under 25 minutes with highspeedBS.

And the owner of highspeedBS should be arrested for peddling a software that can be used for copyright infringement. Remember what they did to the Napster guy?

62 Nov 29, 2007 at 10:02 by anon

oops. how does that apply to selling guides?

63 Nov 29, 2007 at 10:09 by Foo/Bar

Since when has BT been illegal..

Encrypting BT-traffic is only for the warezkiddies who download porn and Adobe products.

64 Nov 29, 2007 at 12:39 by CCNA Exploration

Aren’t torrents illegal though? I thought Comcast banned them. Don’t we risk getting our internet connection suspended?

It’s always funny when people try to make money off of BitTorrent… especially since the whole purpose is “freedom” ;)

In defense of Phishy Bongwater, He prolly looked in up on Google. THAT’s not the same as having shit handed to you cause you were too stupid to type a simple sentence into a search engine and then examine the reults. Pshishy’s right. Idiots should be ripped hard and put away cold.

69 Nov 29, 2007 at 22:31 by Sebastian

I can’t believe there are people stupid enough to buy that software for $17… i only paid my uTorrent for $10 xD

70 Nov 30, 2007 at 00:18 by Laharl

This guide is a complete lie, u cant download faster than what ur line supports, u can only optimize ur conection to get a little more of what u have, but we are talking about 5KB to 10KB per second, there’s no way to download faster if there are no seeds or peers. This is fuking bullshit, dont spend ur money on this.

Hi I’m Comcast too! I can make some threats like.. hmm. lets see… I will kill all the baby bloggers if you don’t stop downloading illigal materials! If that didn’t work then I guess I’ll just throttle down their favorite blogging sites. sigh I’m a sad panda. I need a cookie.

Does no one realize that in all odds, the people posting as Comcast probably have nothing to do with Comcast at all? Can we just think about it a little? Please?
