I know, I've done both as a PC Technician, and as a company rep. Driving 8-9 hours and then doing a full days work, crashing for a few hours, and then driving again isn't good for you. Most truckers can tell you just how hard it is, and the crud they take to make it possible. 9 months touring to make a living, that's a year and a half of your close to home job bare minimum on stress.
