Vuze, the popular BitTorrent client formerly known as Azureus, has received a major update which allows users to automatically convert and play downloaded videos on the iPhone, iPod, Xbox 360 and the PS3. “Now playing, on all your screens” is Vuze’s new tagline.
Crackulous, the one-click cracking application for software purchased from Apple’s AppStore, was previously only available to a select few. Now anyone with an iPhone or iPod Touch can start cracking software purchased from Apple so that they can share them with their friends, since Crackulous has just gone public.
Ashwin Navin, president and co-founder of BitTorrent predicts a backlash against Apple’s ‘locked-in’ ecosystem in the next three years.
Navin told Jemina Kiss at the Mipcom festival:
“Apple is a phenomenal company – we’ve hired engineers from Apple and know the caliber of the talent and creativity. Fundamentally Steve Jobs has challenged an entire value chain, [...]
The popular Ipod torrent site Podtropolis is back. Podtropolis was forced to close its doors in July 2006, because they were unable to pay the server bills. Podtropolis asked for donations several times, but it was not enough to keep the site in the air.

Podtropolis, the popular “Ipod” torrent site had to close its doors a couple of weeks ago. Podtropolis had financial problems and wasn’t able to pay the bills.
But it looks like things changed for the better. Gary from Isohunt.com came to the rescue…. At Podtropolis we read:
