TIOTI is an acronym for “Tape It Off The Internet” and is best described as a TV torrent site with a social network surrounding it. TIOTI has finally moved out of the private beta stage and launches its service to the public today.
The “Tape it off the Internet” project is currently in the final stages of the closed Beta program. TIOTI might very well be a realistic representation of what the future of TV will look like.

TIOTI combines great design, torrent tracking, favourites, recommendations, tagging, a little AJAX, and a lot more web 2.0 goodness. On the verge of what could be BitTorrent’s next revolution, TorrentFreak had the chance to talk to Paul Pod, one of the creative minds behind this project.
