The only reason I stay with TalkTalk is because my service doesn’t have a quota.

The only other selection for an ISP in my area is BT. And they’re fucking terrible.

My parents were with them for a decade or so; the worst customer service I’ve ever seen, the worst technical support I’ve ever seen and the worse line quality I’ve ever seen (dropped in and out, was a fraction of what other providers would give).

Anyone on TalkTalk, leave them, now.

Right……… People who spout this sort of nonsense have no real understanding of RF systems. (or have been blindly brainwashed by advertising).

As an example take 3G, 3G has great speeds on paper (7.2 – 21 Mb/s) but this is a maximum based on the amount of bandwidth available. As soon as you have a few people active on that cell you loose that max speed very quickly. ’4G’ will be the same as ’3G’ is currently, in one word: shit.

The best advice for people who want hight speed in the UK is to go the fiber route. From my experience Virgin cable is best, or if you’re not in a cable area go BT fibre. Never ever suggest 3G/4G.

I was thinking about case today when Adrian Leatherland is like a BT site uploader when he provided the movie name and torrent hash… just like a BT site uploader does… saying look what I found here.

TorrentFreak is like a BT site making these details public… even if only news… not unlike the new item news on a BT site.

So Adrian Leatherland has become the person he most hates when from his public details he has caused hundreds or thousands of people to infringe this movie. The same happens on the Chilling Effect’s site which makes me think in the future these same copyright people will become the largest group providing infringing media links.

I am also pondering if our dear Adrian or his friends have already filed a DMCA take-down request about this very page to Google even if I doubt Google would censor TF for publishing exactly the same details that Google does on Chilling Effects.

Whether you think there is any loss or not is irrelevant, it’s what they think and if they want to sue you or not.

Also it’s not the ISP’s fault, the people vote for this current situation.

Oh I’m sure they are using application generated reports, and just feed or pipe the data into the app. It’s amazing what you can do with docx files with a moderate knowledge of C#, talk about time efficient. It’s how I generate my reports for my contract work , I’m sure they do the same.
