Written by Ernesto on January 17, 2006

Meet ted, yet another way to automatically download the latest tv-torrents. Ted keeps you up-to-date by checking rss feeds of your favorite BitTorrent site for new episodes of your favorite shows. Other ways to manage your tv-torrents are by using gmail, thunderbird or tvtad.

Ted has some predefined shows, and you have the option to edit these, or create your own. When ted finds the torrent you will be notified, unlike tvtad, ted only downloads the torrents and not the tv-shows itself.

check this:

Azureus is a big fat java client which takes 70MB in ram after a few hours and considerably slows down connections.
uTorrent : 3MB, no java effect.

I like Azureus much better. While testing our torrent tracker uTorrent would not even allow 2-5kb/s uploads, but with Azureus it was over 70Kb/s…
But a valid point was made Azureus do bite alot of memory out of your system.

I vote for uTorrent too! Azureus looks good but slows down my machine!

This is a very cool site, and I am glad I found it. I hope everyone enjoys the ‘24′ episode I upload, and hope enough people seed that no one is left out. It is an awesome show.

Question:
how will you tell the difference between a fake ep or not to tell you will still have to read comments on it which means you will still have to search for it thus defeating the purpose of the program ted or whatever it is

13 Feb 08, 2006 at 01:01 by Ernesto

Very simple, use a respectable source like the eztv or vtv feeds.

In my opinion u torrnent is better with http download speed 800 kb and upload 300 kb. Azures is pretty good, but slower downloads for me.
