Tell Your Senators That You Don’t Want Internet Censorship

Opposition against SOPA and PROTECT IP in the United States continues.

Even those who recognize that online piracy needs to be stopped see that these bills are not the right path.

The current text allows for the shutdown of nearly every website on the Internet, which sounds just as bad as it is.

Today a dozen advocacy groups and Internet-based companies are encouraging their members to call Congress in opposition to pending Internet censorship legislation.

“The US Congress is considering America’s first system for censoring the Internet. Despite public outcry, the Internet Censorship bill could pass at any time.”

“If it does, the Internet and free speech will never be the same.”
