Notice in that last paragraph he didn’t actually answer how this movie is intended to generate revenue.

Collect donations and give away the movie for free? Am I missing something. How is this possibly going to make a profit?

This is a brilliant concept, I bought a frame to support the distribution more than the movie. Whether this movie is good or not, I hope all indie films will be funded and distributed this way. And who knows, the movie might be the next Blair Witch Project.
