Don’t most services allow you to redownload a purchase? I purchase a lot of RPG material and we’re allowed up to 5 downloads of a purchase and that can even be reset if needbe.

In their eyes you are indeed wrong for doing so. Even the article confirms one example if iTunes:

(stating in its terms and conditions “Products may be downloaded only once and cannot be replaced if lost for any reason”).

So you have an account that has the information about weather you own the track. And yet we see a chance to make more money instead of offering a service.

I’ll make sure to let people know about this, and how to pirate.

Obviously the music industry says you’re part of the “problem” should you re-torrent purchased music and are causing an increase in their “lost” sales.

So just torrent it anyway.

Just out of curiosity….

If you pay for a track…. It gets stolen…. You then re-download that track from a torrent…. Which side of the law do you fall on since you have technically already paid for that track?

Wtf, I wasn’t aware you could even get download insurance. Is this a British thing?
