Written by Ernesto on September 15, 2008

The top 10 most downloaded movies on BitTorrent, “Iron Man” tops the chart again.

We do not link to actual torrent files because linking to files that link to files that may be copyrighted is something that might get us in trouble.

The data is collected by TorrentFreak, and is for informational and educational reference only. Currently both DVDrips, DVD Screeners and R5 rips are counted.

RSS feed for the weekly DVDrip chart.

As of September 15, 2008…

i wouldn’t expect iron man to move for quite some time, or at least until Dark Knight is released :)

Well hands down whatever aXXo puts up is going to be first, which is understandable, bu-u-u-ut…

Why isn’t FxM such a huge name? He’s big, but he’s not quite up there with aXXo…

I reckon his rips are the same, if not an even better quality rip.

Anyway, thanks for another sweet chart TorrentFreak!

Thanks from Australia!

P.S. Bidpond SUCKS and you all know it. Switch to TPG now - or at LEAST check out their plans (that’s right American’s, go ahead and laugh at our puny bandwidth allowances, but in Australia this is HUGE):

ENJOY!

i freaking now, all the Americans are so outraged by the new 250gb limit, yet here in Australia 250gb is almost unheard of for residents, you need a tailor made plan for that sort of bandwidth, i also am with bigpond :( 60 for 120 aussie a month, thats around 140 US

4 Sep 15, 2008 at 13:26 by WHAT?!?

@ 4 - Dude no way!

I’ve been with TPG for around a year now (give or take) ever since I moved from BigPond. Did you know that BigPond COUNTS UPLOAD IN THEIR DATA LIMITS?

Almost no other ISP does. But they do. If people got off their fat asses and moved to an (OBVIOUSLY) better ISP like iiNet or TPG then maybe they’d start to take note. It’s just a shame that the Internet Connection to most homes is controlled by the parents/older generation, who have been on Telstra most of their lives and really CBF to lift a finger and do anything.

The closest thing you’re going to get to 250gB here (Australia) is TPG’s $80 per month 200gB plan. And 75% of that is allocated to ‘off-peak’ (the wee hours) anyway. GAH!

So American’s, consider yourself lucky with your HUGE download limits.

Thanks for the chart TF - From OZ

@ 4
Your either really rich or really dumb mate. Go on TPG. I agree with @3.
I’m with TPG and couldn’t be happier. What is it, TPG night? THX 4 the chart TF.

Replying from Stockholm/Sweden - 100/100 line (although its more like a 100down 10up) and truly unlimited (I seed around 500gb-1tb on average per month, and download quite a few hundred GB per month) for around 55USD… and still people complain :)

Our ISP knows what this high speed is for… if they try to cap us, they know we wont stand for it.
Aussies are known for their quick tempers (umm, look at your past ;) ) so show them you wont stand for it.. make a noise mates!

Cheers!

Well i thought this was the top ten dvd rips not “the best ISP in Australia” forum
Can some one please remove the dumb ass posts from the aussies above, its making the rest of us Australians look like a bunch of well…DUMB ASSES!!!

Yes iron man is worthy of the of the No.1 spot, great film regardless of who uploads.

Heh, even with these 250 GB restrictions some ISPs are putting on people, they’ll just figure out how to get around it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! No matter what the government anywhere does people will do this, and continue to do this all they want. Not me much anymore, but that’s just the way it is.

How about removing R5 releases from the list, or at least add more films down the list when there’s R5 releases as well?

The sound on R5 releases are roomy, low-fi and noisy. Not worth watching (ie. hearing) IMO.

“The sound on R5 releases are roomy, low-fi and noisy. Not worth watching (ie. hearing) IMO.”

only when they have line audio.

@ #12, “the world envies you :x”

In all honesty that’s not true, we are second to Japan, they have a much faster and more reliable network which has been “future proofed” for the next few years.
(Not sure where exactly I read it, but it was just a few days ago, i think it might have been Wired.com)

So I guess the world envies the land of the rising sun :)

then again, we have TPB and eZee.se :p

The happening was shocking!
It had the potential to be a good film but failed dastically!

There’s no Wanted dvdscr. Lots of R5’s but no real dvdscr yet.

I was one of those who watched Iron Man by aXXo and it was awesome. Thanks aXXo.
Somebody earlier posted about FxM and being awesome, but honeslty aint seen no new movies from his lazy butt. FXG though, is trying his best to compete with aXXo, copying his movies and website techniques.. But I think it does the pirate industry good to have competition you know??
In Guam the internet has no cap and we’re a tiny little island in the pacific. I download and upload as much as i want and no problem ever.
It costs $79 American to get a 7mb per second unlimited mb’s cable connection.
Reply back yo!

22 Sep 17, 2008 at 18:06 by seanpul7

i think you mean FXG not fxm. in my opinion FXG and axxo are by far the best. many people will claim axxo is the best and that may be but FXG right there as well. another one i thought was exceptional was FLAWLESS. ANY WAY, TO EACH HIS OWN…….LATE

23 Sep 17, 2008 at 18:17 by seanpul7

possible correction: if there is a fxm that is worth mentioning, i apologize..wasnt aware of him because i usually perfer axxo or fxg and once in awhile i use the services of flawless. one more thing, does anyone know someone that is reliable for apps…..it seems there are a shit load of torrent apps that are just filled with viruses. would be grateful for any help……thanks….late
