Hangover was good, Ice age a bit old now… can anyone recommend any of the others? or even something else thats new and not on this chart?
Here is what i think and most people think:
when I have a game or movie or wtv copyrighted material, i lend it to the whole neighbourhood , thats sharing .
with the Internet progress that sharing came to be into a whole new level. therefore filesharing is not piracy nor illegal and the industry should adapt by either making physical data way cheaper with better content so as to make having the original a must.
Or sell the data on the internet exluding all the price that comes from physical production and knock down the price severely and still with more content.
in videogame case most people download play and then buy the game because the original offers more online content thats a huge step and one of the reasons why videogame industry is not entirely affected by filesharing.
Piracy my friends is copying content and then selling it, noone is selling anything we are just lending data to our neighbours via better technological options.
the idea that copyright groups are infriging human right laws to pass their own agenda is depicable, if they spent the money evolving instead of trying to go after people and sue them for doing something we always have since there wasnt any tecnology and people knocked on doors for a cup of sugar, then they should vanish and new companies should arise adapted to the current world.
bottomline is most people that download do buy , but those that dont sometimes wouldnt buy in the first place or end up bying if the original content is better, which is the case of alot of dvds and games, although in Dvds sometimes it doesnt offer that great extras stuff. so if companies wana sell make whatever their selling worth it
and stop blaming p2p for not earning more money during a HUGE GLOBAL CRYSIS.
because their still earning millions and billions of euros, while we have to struggle to buy food on a monthly basis.
i recommend “District 9″, you will find the first 20m a little boring but the story will advance in a ways making you watch to know what is going to happen next.
Bruno: i didn’t laught at all, “korny”
Inglourious Basterds: i hate brad pitt anyway
but if you intersting in plotics you will love “state of play”, funny though, i am not in plotics but i loved it a lot.

ubs.. Sry for post it two times…
Intro blurb is broken!
‘17 again’ sidestory was very funny (it was worth sitting through the main story)
BRuno was one of the most unexpectedly disgusting films I ever jumped around through — not worth watching…so I didn’t!
I simply couldn’t.
The Boat That Rocked, well, rocked.
@2
If I show hundreds of kids how to steal chocolate bars, should I be charged with theft?
You say that pirating is not illegal unless you sell the content? Well when I go to search on piratebay, there are ads on the sides of the page. Someone is obviously making profit by directing me to the content.
They are making money off the fact they have found a loop hole in our system thanks to emerging technology. They can “direct” us to content without ever being responsible. Yet they are the ones that make it possible to host torrents on the tracker in the first place. And where are they getting the money to host? The ads of course.
While I do download some things, you are right, I also buy things. The main thing that you must remember is that in this “HUGE GLOBAL CRYSIS” people are going to try and find other ways to gain entertainment without paying. This means that torrent sites will become more popular and gain more money off ad revenue.
All I know is that the situation is very confusing. To me it seems like if we are sharing in a “neighborhood” the trackers/internet are the road (with billboards on them), and the sites that host torrent files are just the maps.
What I was wondering if we could all just meet somewhere and copy our harddrives over to eachother, that way it would be totally legal sharing. Either way, we can always find other ways to host files without needing P2P.
I guess they should also shut down rapidshare, filefreak, MSN messenger, AIM, and many more pieces of software because I have gotten just as much content from those sources.
I think pirating movies is stealing… And law is/will evolve to stop it. Anyways, now its still possible to steal this easy. Ill be happy to keep on stealing!
then again, the measures which anti-pirate groups use to go after pirates is unlawful in itself as well.
so everyone is doing something illegal here, just depends which side of the field your standing on.
personally i think only r5’s dvdscr’s and rips should be included in this list….
@16
LMAO bro, is there anything on those filesharing sites that isn’t considered illegal?
I personally prefer those over torrents, since downloads seem much faster (not many seeders these days) plus the forums you find them in are far more informative about what your downloading..so more safer (i.e. less likely to get a virus, etc)
Really surprised to see Bruno still topping that list. Really would’ve thought something would’ve surpassed it by now.
Maybe just proof positive that people wanted to see the spectacle, but weren’t going to pay for it…
Inglourious Basterds is an awesome ride… I’ve seen it once in the movies with my GF and another time with my best friend… I’m not sure you could get the same experience watching a TS of it… But I’m glad it’s in the top downloaded this week.
@MYMHM
bruno is just a very popular movie.
People that use p2p pay for things , as well. I have paid for Bruno, although I downloaded a cam first, because I could not wait.
According to boxofficemojo Bruno has already grossed $136.933,838.
Which sure seems to say there is a market in mocking uptight celebrity obsessed homophobic conservatives.
Which also seems to imply that p2p is not killing the film industry.
District 9 is a fantastic movie. See it first in the theater, then wait for the actual release.
District 9
I’m surprised Drag Me To Hell wasn’t on here. There was an R5 making the rounds the other day. Thought for sure the horror fans would have got it on the list.
I don’t understand how people pay to see Bruno, I must be getting old because I saw Cohen previous films and don’t feel like even downloading his new and sure I will not miss anything.
@ 17
Users are getting sued for sharing a cup of sugar .
no one i know gets paid for sharing.
and their breaking waves of human right laws, and privacy laws and other laws to do it.
You can tell that the great unwashed are torrenting. No self-respecting pirate would download “Bruno”. :p
“If I show hundreds of kids how to steal chocolate bars, should I be charged with theft?”
Maybe. If you show hundreds of kids how to make their own chocolate bars witch are exactly like the ones they were buying…..no.
Bruno and Inglorius..
Did anyone say jews own hollywood..
:puke:
Sick picture with the fag and child also.
The only good one is fighting and hangover.
