District 9… Bruno… Halo Wars… Wait wat?!

• COldFission

Halo wars isn’t a movie, it’s a RTS game for the 360.

• Guy Who Saw That “Halo Wars”

It’s just all the cutscenes from the game put together- don’t download it.

It isn’t worth the watch, most of the action happens outside the cutscenes (because it’s a game). Thus, there are HUGE gaps in it. Like you will see a scene of them getting ready to attack, and them it goes to the aftermath of the attack.

Don’t waste your time.

I’m surprised The Boat That Rocked even made it on the list :P

• Hibrid

This is water that floats up the river. Halo wars…hope they made a mistake.

• SomeGuy

How torrentfreak even compiles is data is undisclosed.

For all we know, they throw some random numbers up in wordpres and push the publish button.

Of course, ya’ll are just like OH OKAY, MUST BE TRUE, KTHNX.

• 7SeVeN7

Bruno?????
who the fcuk would waste bandwidth on that pice of shit????

look at @9

No it isn’t, it’s a waste of time.

Don’t bother with it.

• Mr. Original

OMG! like is Halo Wars even a movie?

• ju

yeh halo wars (cutscenes) isnt that good.

@13, SomeGuy

nowhere do they claim that the data is strictly objective and only a retard would use it as a legitimate source without first seeing how its compiled. its only a vague collection of trends for the layman

• Explanation

People think, that Halo Wars is a normal movie.

How does Torrentfreak compile there numbers?

• Ash Ketchum

Heres an example of how one can get such stats. http://www.torrentz.com/verifiedP?q=movie

Although I don’t see Halo Wars there, many people most likely downloaded it the day it was released.

District 9 is good, Bruno is crude but decent. State of play and the Hangover are okay-ish.

The rest of them are varying degrees of crap, with the bottom three really pushing new lows for just how bad a film can get…I’m ashamed of just what poor taste bittorrent users have.

You need to take a chill pill. All your comments are negative and condescending. The stress is not good for your blood pressure.

remember that this is top downloaded, not highest rated, or best movies for the week

a lot of you seem to want the media beast to die, so what are you doing eating the fruits of their labor? spit it out already, and focus on something other than sensational, happy ending, gore-spattered, brain polluting crap. if you like a couple movies that come out thats fine, but if you eagerly anticipate every new blockbusting piece that comes out, you deserve to have your money and time taken from you at 12 dollars a head, because you are already theirs.

• johannesfaust

most of them are crap I would say, I actually don´t watch that sh**t but I download it just because I have time and I like to f***k the ¨industry¨….

I believe they are just good friends with a lot of admins from popular torrent sites so they just go to TPB, Mininova, etc admins and ask them for the numbers.

Gross to see Bruno on that list. Just watching the commercials for that movie makes me go insane.

Haven’t seen District9 yet, but it has a nice IMDB rating. Will have to watch it one day.

• SAM6

D9 was great amazing film
rest of the list are different styles of the same crap

• h8er

i still think we should make a list void of cams….they’re almost ALWAYS worthless and ruin movies for more people than they please…keep the movement going people!! DOWN WITH CAMS!!

• klitoratii

halo wars should so not be making this chart. it’s not even a movie! someone just ripped the in-game movies and stuck them all together! flagggg

That may be true but since this is an info tread I don’t see why cams or any other type of movie even homemade should not be counted.

I think this is not a DVDrip stats only but a general view of the landscape that encompasses more then one category, no?
