It just came too late I think.

Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel sucked terribly, unless you like stupid uk humor.

What the hell? I didn’t know they made another Scooby Doo movie.

13 Sep 22, 2009 at 22:24 by kottonface

That’s not a bad Top 10. I’ve gotten about half this list and I gotta say I have been disappointed.

bring back demonoid for movies sake

Not sure what kind of release Star Trek is, but I can’t imagine it’s a retail DVDrip. NFOrce doesn’t list a full DVD release, which would be expected around the same time as a DVDrip.

17 Sep 23, 2009 at 01:36 by Alky

Based on the quality of imbt’s rls, it must be retail…

Gotta say D9 is a great film. I originally watched a d/l and it inspired me to watch it TWICE at the cinema – so you can strike up 2 direct sales attributed to ‘piracy’.

Come on Reasoned Mind, where are you when we need you to remind us that a download always equals a lost sale?

He’s probably trying to figure out a way to pay for all that music he keeps hearing for free on the radio and TV, because he claims to pay for everything he listens to.

Can also recommend State of Play. Saw that one at the cinema too – not bad for an adaptation from it’s original TV series. But I think Bill Nighy in the TV version played the editor role much better than Helen Mirren, because he gave it a sense of twisted humour where Helen just seems a bit cold and straight.

For anyone in the UK who hasn’t seen it yet – State of Play was written by Paul Abbott who created the original Shameless series and is still exec producer, so it’s quality writing. If you’re familiar with his work don’t expect the humour of Shameless as it’s quite dark, even more so in the film adaptation, but it has that gritty realism you’d expect from Paul and you won’t see the ending coming at all, he really makes you think about your own prejudices. Nice :)

I think we can all agree Year One is a load of shite (so are Scooby Doo and Next Day Air), but it’s good to see District 9 still up there in the top 3, let alone at #1.

Maybe bittorrenters don;t have such poor taste after all. :P

It was brilliant, you are obviously to stupid to understand the subtleties of UK humour. You might do in ten years time, but by then we will have moved on and up. Dense mug.

22 Sep 23, 2009 at 13:27 by UK HUMOR SUXXX

I hated that british time travel movie. I hate the way those uk people talk.

23 Sep 23, 2009 at 13:56 by TRYER

Afficianado UK, Canadian, Us and Mexican and etc. have all types of humor. And we all have our own opinions and tastes of what we like in entertainment.
It is not Anon’s fault UK humor hasn’t in changed in decades. What is a Dense Mug?

Translation: I’m to thick and lazy to understand anything beyond my woefully limited culture.

What is a Dense Mug?

Heh heh! I guess if you have to ask that question, then you definitely fit the bill,TRYER.

District 9 was shit. Oh, look, aliens are trading in their superior guns for cat food. lmfao…

26 Sep 23, 2009 at 18:52 by uk fan

lol i guess the anti-uk people here would say monty python is ’stupid uk humour’ too?. The UK is lightyears ahead of everyone when it comes to subtle humour

27 Sep 23, 2009 at 20:43 by Old guy

Bruno…. I cannot express myself in a way which is negative enough. This movie sis suck crap!!!! Nothing is left in this industry from those meaningful, story-telling black and white movies we once had….

The United Kingdom is a joke lol. Now that is some good humor. They killed princess Diana didn’t they? Idiots.

29 Sep 24, 2009 at 02:45 by Anon

@27

Bruno’s supposed to be a parody, not a serious film. Way to miss the point.

@25

Considerably more original and interesting than anything else this summer though.

30 Sep 24, 2009 at 18:07 by im uk

the british led the way you measily C**t just follow I’m sure Diana was killed in France by the French paps. The only people who don’t like brits are the ones who were to weak not to be ruled by them at sum point in time or muslims in general

31 Sep 25, 2009 at 05:39 by Bucketman

I fucking loved “Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel”

British humor is much better than American in my opinion.

Greetings from Sweden.

32 Sep 25, 2009 at 10:32 by filmsopmijnpc.nl

just go to http://www.filmsopmijnpc.nl and look the film (district 9) without any download in super quality. Downloading is past tense, streaming is the word

Your village has recanted, the idiot they got to replace you was over qualified. Could you return ASAP? They will double your turnip allowance, and chuck in some kale.

34 Sep 26, 2009 at 01:07 by Crap

Yea, more district crap.
How about they tackle the many problems in today’s South African society instead of talking about the long ended apartheid

35 Sep 26, 2009 at 01:41 by LxrKan

i have to give D9 this one all right, the visual art in it was mind blowing!
really something to raise the bar!

36 Sep 27, 2009 at 16:07 by z

D9 is a great movie indeed, and for its uniquess, and independence from major studies really should earn a lot. I my opinion Boxx Office, though high, could be a lot better (especially as so many shitty movies do better), so fellow torrent users, give the creators of good movies like this one earn, motivate them, unless you want to see a load of romantic comedies.
I’ll buy it on DVD the time it goes out, if it is possible for you – do that same, or go to the cinema if it is still shown.
Worth every penny.
