Suckerpunch had nothing to do with Boby Dolls imagination. That WAS the ‘suckerpunch’. From the moment it goes into the first fantasy world, the dancing world, it is Sweet Peas imagination but told from Baby Dolls point of view. you have to watch the extended version to get it, the theatrical cuts out critical points.

Sucker Punch was a fantastic movie, the movie is about a girl that WAS NOT insane but was in an insane asylum, if you have ever seen The Hurricane with Denzel Washington you would understand, the part when Ruben Carter says “It’s very important to transcend to places that hold us.” Which basically means: Anything that you know implicitly is truth. In Baby Dolls case, she used her imagination to escape her terrible reality, and that imagination became her reality, in other words, reality is whatever you want it to be. Moving onwards, alot of people said that the movie was very random, there is a reason for that, the movie was random because imagination is random, and Zack Snyder did a fantastic job of portraying that with the Samurai scene at the start and the World War II scene, he was just trying to show that imagination is a very random thing and that ANYTHING CAN BE imagined, it’s not explained why Baby Doll chose to imagine those places and events, but that is not the point. The entire point of the movie is Truth is what you want it to be, when you understand that, the movie begins to make more sense.

Another thing i might as well get off my chest is how unhappy i am with today’s generation of kids, they strike me as ignorant, spoiled, and very negative. Nobody understands anything anymore, and nobody even tries to, all movies now must be Oscar Worthy just to be considered good movies or they will be labeled as garbage by the ‘intelligent’ youth of the 21st Century, it just doesn’t make any sense, people don’t just enjoy things for what they are anymore, in fact, people don’t even know how to view things as they are anymore, a great example of this is all of the brand name loyalty and feuds with people that stand by another brand. I am really worried about our future, i certainly don’t want any of these people someday running our country.

What I got from Sucker Punch was how radically different the world can appear to insane people. I look at you and see a normal human being. They look at you and see a ten foot hairy green monster that is about to eat them. Basically it boils down to the fact that reality is completely dependent on ones psyche and how they perceive the world around them. The film is supposed to make you question whether a person you deem as insane actually is. How do you know for sure with 100% certainty? Just because you decided at some point to believe in a reality that has been defined by the majority doesn’t mean it is the correct one. Perhaps you are the insane one because you refuse to see the dragon that is really standing there in front of you. ;-)

Come on, you’ll see in let say 20 years the result of the industrialization of the world… the Internet is consuming more and more resources, and the construction of computers is a pretty polluting industry, and the production of electricity ain’t clean at all…

What do we do with chemical wastes? They end up in chinese rivers or in Somalian coast…

What do we do with old computers & technological crap? It ends up in India where kids with no protection ‘recycle it’.

IT is a disgusting industry, even if both the content industry and the ‘pirates’ (consumers!) believe it’s beautyfull.

(BTW, sounds like you are mexican, there are still some interesting indigenous tribes & nice pueblos around there, aren’t they?)
