The top 10 most downloaded movies on BitTorrent, ‘Tower Heist’ tops the chart this week, followed by ‘Hugo’. ‘The Adventures of Tintin’ completes the top three.

    I thought The Woman in Black was a really shit movie to be honest. :-

    It was a very stereotypical gothic horror – you knew what was coming, sadly, since you knew what was coming… everything seemed bored, for me anyway.

    Mr. Potter has done well though, moving onto gothic movies (similar to harry potter in that respect) was a good choice.

    The other movies on that list I didn’t bother watching because they seemed to crap ^__^

    I still might watch Underworld though so I can laugh at my sister saying… “I watched a adult version of Twilight, bitch.” ^__^

      What you call gossip, others call statistics, and are interested in them.
      They don’t expect you to download any of these movies, they just want to show you what most people watched/downloaded.

        Sure, it’s good to know what movies are causing the internet censorship nowadays. I’m sure some people are “interested” in this kind of gossip and I’m fine with that but the “news” is now worthy of torrentfreak, or at least far from what I am expecting

          TORRENTfreak, hints in it’s name… that will explain why they make such posts.

          Blogs often have a “Top 10″ weekly/monthly post to help increase it’s audience and some people actually like reading this, me included. If you don’t like it, don’t read it! It tells you in the title what it is so it’s not like they are misleading you into viewing this article. Is it so hard to just no click?

      probably not, but if there was something interesting to watch on this list that I forgot about then I would.
      Its not TF’s fault these are shit movies, but the sheep that DL them.

      I like the list, it is quite informative to see what others are downloading.

      I also use it to catch up on any mainstream release I might have missed, each week there is usually 1 or 2 titles on there worth a download (though usually not worth buying)

    Stop manipulating The Three Musketeers’ score:
    Previous week you also put 6.0 while in reality it was 5.9 on IMDB.
    Now it’s 5.8 but you still put 6.0

    Something fishy is going on here…

      it probably depends when they took the score from imdb, it changes daily because of new user rating the movie.

      Are you really so dense that you don’t realize the number of people that continue to rate a Movie changes it’s overall Score Daily? What did you think IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes did, stop rating all users after one week? Come on Man… There should be a minimum IQ score to comment here…

    I watched 2 movies this week my final movies prior to the BLACK MARCH boycott.

    The first was The Woman in Black where it is nice to see the return of the British Hammer horror films. This is a very nice movie if you like the creepy ghost like suspense mystery set in the English countryside and swampland.

    I did see two events not quite right but only minor. The first is that people would not say their destination is simply the North West but to provide a map location. Then second offering someone what they call “silver coins” is bizarre when silver is too weak and costly for general use and currency usually comes with a name. Beyond that a very nice creepy movie with a different ending.

    My second movie was The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I have been meaning to watch that for ages but always thought a girls movie. I was sure wrong it that estimate being some post 2000 punk-gothic Nazi murder mystery with a fucked up sexual theme. I saw no obvious issues there so enjoy.
