The top 10 most downloaded movies on BitTorrent, ‘Battleship’ tops the chart this week, followed by ‘The Hunger Games’. ‘American Reunion’ completes the top three.

This week there are two newcomers in our chart.

Battleship is the most downloaded movie.

      The music and action sequences etc… it was brilliant. The only negatives to the movie was the bad editing at certain moments and the plot holes. Putting that aside it was a fab movie.

      The Dark Knight was a better movie though – I loved it!

      I do guess 9.0 may be a little high. 8.7 would make more sense.

        Main problem with Rises is that is really wasent a Batman movie,it was a Bruce Wayne movie,with  Catwoman padding out the early parts.

    Considering that the top Hollywood list is consistently disappointing (not Torrentfreak’s fault -smile – ) , I thought I would share a list of some of my favorite films with all of you to enjoy.

    Profound…

    1. In The Mood For Love (2000) (Cantonese) – A man and a woman move in to neighboring Hong Kong apartments and form a bond when they both suspect their spouses of extramarital activities.

     2. Ame Agaru (After The Rain) (1999) (Japanese) – Ihei Misawa and his wife Tayo, stranded by rains at a country inn, bring a great deal of happiness to the other residents of the inn by means of Ihei’s generosity and good spirit.

    3. Das Boot (1981) (German) – The claustrophobic world of a WWII German U-boat: boredom, filth, and sheer terror. This film is so well done, you feel as if you are a crew member in the U-boat. You feel the claustrophobia and terror. Make sure you get the uncut version. It’s five hours long!

    4. A Passage To India (1984) – Cultural mistrust and false accusations doom a friendship in British colonial India between an Indian doctor, an Englishwoman engaged to marry a city magistrate, and an English educator.

    Absorbing Dramas…

    1. Night On Earth (1991) – An anthology of 5 different cab drivers in 5 American and European cities and their remarkable fares on the same eventful night.

    2. Place Vendome (1998) (French) – Realizing a dishonest deal has been found out, a diamond merchant commits suicide, leaving the gems in question for his wife.

    3. Mother Lode (1982) – A couple of adventurers go into the wilderness of British Columbia in search of a lost colleague.

    A fun comedy that is always good for a laugh…

    1. Club Paradise (1986) – Injured while risking his life to save an angry German Shepherd, Chicago Firefighter Jack Moniker retires and moves to a small Carribean island named St. Nicholas.

    On the topic of The Hunger Games wasn’t as good as I was hoping (still smarting over it being a crapper version of Battle Royale) still enjoyable though.
