I did a search on Isohunt yesterday & ended up with malaware called “mediagateway.exe” installed on my pc so Isohunt look pretty dodgy to me.

yep i must say that torrent spy is good but i prefer dididave. i can even get all the new albums released that week in one dvd download. f~~~ing brill

The only other site i visited was the bbc who i have as my homepage. They’ve got these horrendous pop ups on Isohunt that as soon as you try & turn them off start popping stuff up everywhere, it was only after this happened that i noticed my pc was slower, web speeds were slower & i couldn’t turn off the pc, after a check i found that a program called “mediagateway.exe” had installed itself on my pc which as far as i can see could only have come from Isohunt who i now avoid like the plague. It is a shame as otherwise it is a good search site.

FYI… ISOhunt is just a scrape directory NOT a torrent search engine, all the files they host locally, or hotlink to they dont send traffic to the source which a search engine should.

Nick what ya talkin about man.
I’m using isohunt for a long time now
and never got any problem with it.
So just stop visiting those porn sites
because that’s probably where you got it from isohunt is a great site and never installed any shit on my computer.

ISOhunt does not send malware or any kind of spyware to your computer.. Ive been going to it for years and nothing bad has happened to my computer. Do you click on the advertizements in ISOhunt? That will cause malware and a complete lock-up if you get deeper into it. You have to be aware of what your doing.. Only use the search engine, nothing else.

I’ve used Isohunt for four years and have never gotten any malware from it. if you honestly believe that isohunt is what caused that malware to end up on your drive then you sir need to give up your bus pass for the short bus because even they know it’s not possible.
