Blade, I have never heard of ‘the federation’ of torrents, or FACT. But i can tell you one thing. You don’t have my permission to close down until I get there. You are welcome in the U.K…. I left a distress msg on that site and it needs to be restored. I am still in the USA trying to find help. Denver Colorado.

Dude – I know what they did, because I’m one of them. To avoid a lawsuit, they handed over all records and information for the last 6 months. It was a honeypot operation, and more is coming in the next months.

That’s completely false. The database and forum access was neither asked for by FACT, nor given by the TD administration. FACT only wanted the “tracker” part shut down and after that was completed, administration received a second notice that they were now in compliance and no further action was required.

The database is not being sold or given away to anybody. FACT was not given access to the website, they let themselves in during an “open registration” period (as the site needed more users after the hardware failure downtime) and that’s why they were able to send a cease and desist notice.

Stop making stuff up for no reason other than to give people that you don’t know a bad name. You know absolutely -nothing- of what’s going on.

Torrent-Damage is gone, none of the ex users need to worry about them having given out your information. The admins have the gratitude of those of us who actually have the capacity for intelligent thought and have the inside knowledge to know that most of these comments are complete bullshit.
