The Stacy switch was’t bad, but I found it unnecessarily distracting. It could work if put in a different environment, though, like in the ‘out’n'live’ episode from November.

I’ve produced and directed for TV and cinema and I wouldn’t have picked her. Sorry.

We know it has to be a girl and one who is fairly good looking at least, but her voice hampers her delivery. The Stacy comedy element is pretty weak too. The characterisation is okay, but a good script for that part will sustain a weak character. Unfortunately, her scripting is weak so it shows up how empty the character is.

I suspect the script is written in one session without any major redrafting and that’s why it suffers. Writing a half-decent script (even for a light factual show like this) is actually quite hard. The script should be rewritten a few times before air to iron out the problems. Comedy is a lot harder than purely factual matters, so good comedy scripts need a lot of working and reworking to make them good. Someone suggesting that “Hey, I can like do a silly voice and pretend to be like an idiot or something.” just isn’t enough.

Hopefully this comment won’t be read out on the show with a retort like “Your comment is boring.” You don’t sound clever or funny reading out negative comments and attempting to ridicule them. It makes you sound weak and defensive.

zoom the camera in on her tits and you’ll have the perfect show.

The main host did much better this time around but she could still make it slicker. The main thing is that its very obvious that she is reading what she is saying.

also everyone who ever starts a project like this only gets better over time. look at your favorite performer, whether it’s an actor, musician, anything, their first work was terrible and now they are awesome. so don’t listen to the jerkoffs making rude comments!

It’s good you’ve got a thick skin, but you should probly let someone else read comments and give you a summary. I remember some celebrity saying her mom read all her fan/critic comments and only passed on the stuff she needed to hear.

Thank you for summarizing weeks worth of articles into an user-friendly short show. Occasionally, I’ll miss an article on something quite interesting and it’ll be pointed out there. Most of the show is solid and it does contain good information on a variety of topics.

In my opinion(JUST my opinion), the second girl who makes an appearance in the show seems out-of-place. The ‘ditsiness’ isn’t very appealing(at least, certainly not to me). She may be the most wonderful person to walk the earth, but she seems to be barely above an attempt to grab a 14 year old’s attention. On a second note, and this seems to be improving with every show, I get the feeling that the content is being read off by a teleprompter – it feels somehow forced.

But again, thank you. This is at no charge to me, yet its time you’ve all invested for my(our) benefit.

Any way, I made a mistake in my crude comment last week. I meant to say “Stacy” not “Stacia”…. I apologize deeply Stacia… I had absolutely nothing bad to say about your performance. My problem was with the Stacy scene. I was so annoyed by the scene with Stacy in it I felt compelled to write that comment. My comment was immature to say the least and I probably shouldn’t of written it. To be fair though, my comment was more of a rant, rather than a suggestion. No where in my comment did I mention that it was a suggestion. So yeah, your right, it wasn’t really a suggestion because I wasn’t writing one. I was writing an nonconstructive rant.

Any way,back to current times… episode 7 was really good! Awesome job! I still think the whole *Stacy* act need to go though…. it kinda takes away from the quality of the show. :\

I’d like longer episodes, personally. There’s not as much feedback/discussion on some of the stories. In some cases, just a headline, and then a joke, sometimes carried over from the previous story. I mean, half episode #7 was a trailer for a movie that I don’t want to see, and her reading letters. Read letters if the show’s going to be longer.

I like stacy. She’s simply a real girl trying to do her job. She’s probably actually pretty awesome cuz I have yet to meet a girl who’s interested in all this stuff on torrentfreak
