ive never used the rss torrent feature, but i was always under the impression that you would create your own rss feeed for what you wanted, via some program. Course i could be way off on that. I mostly use newsgroups nowadays, limiting my torrents to tv shows that are taking to long to hit the news servers. 300-400k down is an ok speed for bittorrent, but I like the 1000k i get on the newsies. So rss torrenting, although a cool idea, hasnt been something i’ve had a chance to get into. – CJ

Ernesto puts up the torreent, so you’ll have to hit him up about that, as for the bandwith on my server side, which is used to stream the show here and on the actual subscribed feed, thats a free for all, I have an unlimited bandwith account, so even if every person on the planet grabbed the show it wouldnt cost me a penny extra.

Would it be possible to have an RSS feed compatable with torrent clients such as ÂµTorrent? Would help alleviate some of your bandwidth if more people would use torrents for your podcasts…

yeah, i think it’s absolutely wrong for any ISP to even ATTEMPT to try and do something about what you do with your internet – i mean, if you care at all what people do with their 2.8mpbs connection, then don’t even allow people to subscribe at all in the first place.

Awesome! thanks for the audio comment, you get to be the first ever to leave one for the show. As for limiting p2p traffic, i personally think isp’s can go suck some cock. you pay for unlimited use, and you should get unlimited use, not “oh sure it’s unlimited, but but unlimited, unlimited” Increase your fucking capacity, or stop selling access to more people then you can handle. I’ll be sure to add a bit more in ep 14 for ya, and thanks for the comment. – CJ

Hey man, I just listened to your podcast for the first time (actually just found out about it too) and it’s pretty sweet.

Now since I haven’t listened to any of your other podcasts, I’m not sure if this question will be answered in a future podcast, however often they come out:

What do you think about some of the major ISP’s blocking or limiting overall bandwidth whenever a torrent client is in use. I know that my old ISP (Rogers (Canada)) did that and it drove me FUCKING NUTS! I couldn’t get fuck all for speeds. And just last week I noticed almost the same thing happening (I’m not on Rogers anymore) with my internet. everytime I open uTorrent, all my bandwidth gets destroyed.

So if you plan on using that question in a future podcast that would be fuckin awesome if you elaborated on it for a bit.
