I honestly dont know about their policy on upload logs. I’d wager they dont touch em, especially since rr’s people are all clueless when you start asking about newsgroups. granted stupid people in thier tech dept. doesnt mean stupid people in their legal dept. I’d say that your best bet if you want to be an uploader is to fork out the cash and go where you can be as close to 100% certain you wont be caught doing so, and if you dont want to fork out the cash, then stick to grabbing only, lest you become the reason people know you shouldnt upload via the rr newsgroups. – CJ

I just listened to torrentpod 33

RR usenet has 70 days retention beyond that not that useful

I have a question about rr usenet and uploading logs. Since RR outsouces it’s usenet to newshosting who keeps the upload logs RR or NH? I did look at header infomation and it did say to file complaint email abuse@rr.com I am kind of hoping rr would just foward the msg to NH by than the log would be gone. They did remove the x-trace header I tried to ask NH this but the wouldn’t answer since I was not a custmoer and I don’t to ask rr and bring attention to myself.
