Torrentspy Redesign Preview
Written by Ernesto on August 07, 2006Torrentspy, still one of the most popular torrent sites on the web, is about to undergo a change of appearance. It seems like they’re hopping on the web2.0 bandwagon. It looks neat though, have a look.
Lets start with a preview of the new look, and break it into pieces.
Torrent Rating
As you can see in the preview screenshot below, torrentspy is adding a digg-like rating system.

User Attributes
This new feature will probably allow users to submit custom attributes to describe the torrent. A democratic rating system makes it possible for others to indicate whether the description suits the torrent. Among these attributes is a very web2.0 compliant tags attribute.
Users are allowed to add new attributes, only the top rated attributes will be used.
Password Anyone?
Don’t you hate it when you download a passworded archive? The suggested password option might come to the rescue.
Rate Comments
Again very Digg-like, the option to rate comments.
