decades of deep-pocket donations. sumpreme court ruling that campaign donations can’t be capped. professional lobbists working to keep america safe for the white collar criminals. but i would be wrong to say that it was partially our collective fault – somebody had to vote for these douchebags. I mean just today i heard of two stories: one of nyc police burning books donated to the occupy movement and of an 84 year old woman getting pepper sprayed. we can remedy it by getting out to vote in 2012, kick their asses out of there. I haven’t lost hope yet. until then though its just another day in the Fascist States of America
@ benjamin how ignorant are you? This is not a cliche! People’s rights are being taken as we speak right before your eyes as an avid history buff, I know for a fact that is how a certain Austrian consolidated power from the German chancellery and eventually became a certain Fuhrer.
