That's probably true. The copyright system is so slow in allowing technical systems to be used (or even tested) for relevant "content", salesmen have to get their cake, lawyers, contracts need to be written, and then there's marketing... there is no wonder the pirates are 15-20 years ahead. The tech is here and has been for a long time, it just takes so damn long for everyone in the complex machinery to get their piece of the cake so the tech is obsolete once everything is formally ready.

If you've worked somewhere in the copyright machine you understand why. It is an extremely slow and inefficient beast. Any tech guy with ambition and enthusiasm would get frustrated at how slow things are. No wonder they do their best hacks illegally / unofficially at home.

shows they know the way pirates consume and share is the best way to do business... lets face it.. pirate streaming sites are superior to history channels and discy.. which are lower bit rates and slower and encrypted as they think it protects it

The 90+ DMCAs we have gotten, responded too and posted in the past 5 months sure cost us a lot of revenue in lost server assets. I guess it just goes to show that its dumb for us to expect the fat Hollywood cats to abide by the same ridiculous rules us common folk are bound too.

That is unfortunate I never really watched any of his videos I just came across that one one day while looking for info on SOPA/PIPA. I could've sworn I've seen several stories talking about certain torrent sites (older ones) which where MAFIAA honey pots, his video just so happened to be the one I remembered mentioning it. Thanks for the heads up.

Agreed. This article is sensational bullshit. Why would they stream pirated material when they could simply stream legal material?

I agree with what you've said -- up until the last paragraph and the Mike Mozart video, that is.

This guy (Mozart) was conjoined with Alki David in the suit against CNET/CBS networks for the distribution of BitTorrent software.

He made several videos and a Web site which was so full of crap as to be laughable -- all for the sake of making "lots of money" as he stated in one of his videos wherein he invited others to join in on the lawsuit.

None of his Alki David related videos he made now exist on his Jeepers Media channel -- you will only find them re-uploaded on other channels such as the one you used above.

I'm all for a "good" conspiracy theory, but anything Mike Mozart has to say in this area should be taken with a healthy dose of salt because he has a hidden, vested interest in making you believe many of the things he has claimed. A "money interest."

If you want to read a detailed exposé about Mike Mozart's relationship with Alki David, just go to the comments section of this TF story beginning with the comment displayed in the image below:
