Anyone who doesn’t want to be controlled by US laws should now seriously avoid .com and other ICANN controlled TLD (top level domains) (including .net and .org).

ICANN has delegated country TLDs to countries. For example, Canada controls .CA But Canada can get bullied into anything by the giant next door….

I’m guessing the safest country is .CH (Swiss)

I see a HUGE market for the two letter .country codes that are not under US control. ICANN has no control over .CH and it would be an act of War if it ever did…

The US is entering an era which is “unfortunate”. Add this to the wikileaks takedowns and I’m glad I’m not American! Makes me scared as hell to visit them these days! Even posting this message scares me because they might track me down and blacklist me… US Citizens are starting to live in a Police State governed by large corporations and large industry.

I’m paying money to the Recording Industry to make data backups on DVD and CD because we have a Levy in Canada. You can image that my views on downloading material has changed as a result.
