If UFC would have announced they're going to use Torrent to distribute episodes then a lot of people would be praising. They're not doing anything wrong and all they want is to maximize profit. After all if you think they're the trolls then stop feeding them and stop watching/downloading UFC. Even if they send someone to jail that person still has to pay some fee. So, in the end if they win they probably earn quite a bit. It's just a natural move for those who can afford it. Suing isn't cheap and you need to keep in mind you may not always win. I'm sure in time every business who can afford suing will eventually do so to protect their products. The more ISPs they get to work against piracy they more they're going to sue, because it makes catching individuals quite a bit cheaper, faster and easier. I wouldn't be surprised if ISPs start earning from successful cases thanks to their cooperation. In my eyes this is just the beginning. There are tons of engineering software companies who are losing a lot of money, because some company thinks it's okay to crack the license and use illegal copy, etc...
