Most of those main sites ive never heard of (and very few will have), and the proxies are worthless.

I wonder if these blocking actions are just trolling because they are useless and pointless.

Not if they are the only ones giving you truly unmetered internet and all the channels you want.

The alternative being Virgin? No thanks, id like my 100Mb/s line to have more than 1Mb/s of throughput thanks..

A list of top 50 rated ISP’s. They will/might be more expensive but they give a better service, don’t throttle and can be p2p friendly. I am currently with SurfAnyTime and have received a good service from them, no throttling p2p/streaming and no censoring of sites.
