I do not condone or agree with any form of law infringement, but am not against “try before you buy” file sharing.
Many companies, usually headed by very rich people got there by ripping people off with huge prices for sometimes second rate stuff.
The main law that must be obeyed is “Fit for the purpose it was bought for” , so when I buy a laptop, I expect it to do exactly what it is advertised to do at no extra cost.
IS THAT WRONG?

Well, every time the copyright industry goes to the legislatures to extend the copyright terms, they are stealing from the public domain. We have every right to take back what has been stolen from the commons, and the Internet gives us the means. The only theft in this case was from the commons.
