Threatening to sue and demanding an upfront payment is extortion. If they refused to pay the front fee, they’d likely never be taken to court, in fact they have no intention of doing so. That’ abuse of the system and extortion and judges are frowning on the practice.

thats more of a security thing than an attempt at censorship. the majority of payments through anomonizers is likely theft…considering the pointlessness of hiding your identity when paying with something tied to your name
