However, the court also noted that it may actually be illegal under European law to have legislation which allows such downloading.

Wait what? The Dutch laws that have been around for a long time are now illegal? The law, is illegal. Because of the EU laws, laws that were forced on the Dutch by their government. Even after they all voted "NO" on them.

And yet, this doesn't surprise me anymore...

@48 Beware of MAFIAUs would make it "use(less)net... :((Music And Film Industries of UNITED STATES OF ... (ya know...)! There are others too... Yes, Canadian ones took Demonoid down but guess what?! It's back and I think it works flawlessly even now in N(m!)ovember '10... :P) must concentrate more than torrents... So, Usenet, beware... :(

And regarding “The Court largely reversed an earlier decision, ruling that it is not illegal for Internet users to INFORMING others where illicit material can be found. However, FTD was found guilty of promoting illegal UPLOADING”, as I’ve already said, “informing” leads to “promoting” … heck! Even “promoting" also leads "illegal UPLOADING” … How?! Here ya go!

Google launches search engine > people search > Google tracks / records > Google auto-completes people’s words when they type based on "trending searches" (?!) > though it “automatically” censors “adult words”, it doesn’t censor torrents and megavideos > people click torrents because of Google’s “suggestions” > people download torrents > they automatically upload while downloading (even most torrent clients have an option to “limit” upload speed but not to fully disable if I’m correct) > ILLEGAL! Or some ‘generous’ people (heck! I REALLY mean generous and it’s NOT A PUN! :P) people even come forward to ‘share’ their dvds / blue rays online by ripping and ‘uploading’ > ILLEGAL terribly illegal > if someone uploads, then others will download and as a result, they too start uploading > they too think to rip ad upload their movies and the cycle goes on … TERRIBLY TERRIBLY TERRIBLY _ILLEGAL_ !!!

So, let us reverse the process… If others download and upload it is because someone has uploaded / shared because he/she was _generous_ enough. Even if he / she was “generous”, he/she’d have automatically uploaded because that’s the main principle of bt world… /sharing/ !!! :D He/she thought about downloading because when he/she typed a movie name, IT WAS GOOGLE THAT “SUGGESTED” TO DOWNLOAD by its /auto-complete/ feature. So, IF GOOGLE DIDN’T SUGGEST, HE/SHE WOULD NOT HAVE DOWNLOADED / UPLOADED / UPLOADED A DVD / MADE OTHERS COMMIT THE “CRIME” TOO …
RESULT ?! As I’ve already stated, INFORMING IS ALSO A KIND OF PROMOTING!! ‘nuff said! :D The same goes to “religious” TERRORIST preachers … “JIHAD” ?! Wordnet 3.0 (a generation ahead of Web 2.0 and My Word 2.0! :D :D) says: “a holy WAR waged by Muslims against INFIDELS” wait a sec… “infidels” means /non-believers/ I think… So, it is like waging war on someone who doesn’t believe ISLAM and I think those TERRORISTS are ACTUALLY doing those stuffs GENUINELY if ya ask me… ah! They do kill many poor innocent civilians and heck! they can be even their own _Islamic_ people of course, and wow! Wordnet also has another "definition" “a holy struggle or striving by a Muslim for a moral or spiritual or political goal” which is very very very VAGUE if ya ask me…. :( ah! It says the first meaning as “international” jihad ?! WHAT THE HECK ?!!?!?! INTERNATIONAL "VIEWS" ON ... ?!

And coming to the point… Where did I leave?! Yup… If those /terrorists/ BOMB your / OUR (?! :D) twin towers and stuffs, it was because of true concept or not… /JIHADIST/ BRAINWASHES … So, those “religious leaders” are inDIRECT responsibilities… I’m not saying Google has committed such a crime… but … Ya know… :P

@45: ahhhh! I think using “quotes” confuse most of the times … :( It even confuses a lot in my case because I use to play with words often to tease others brains and funny bones at the same time (:P) and as a result, I tend to use literal meaning for metaphors and common words as metaphors and there are incidents where puns are gotta be taken seriously and serious things that are gotta be taken funny… :P Well, heck! I can CAPTALIZE but it sounds more like YELLING / SHOUTING … *thinks* If ya ask me, I can’t even use asterisks as I use them while describing my direct actions… So I thought to use apostrophes / quotation marks… hmmm heck! Even meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Editing says like this: “You can “ITALICIZE text'' by putting 2 APOSTROPHES on each side.” Both ‘’ and “ … look ridiculously similar visually… That's why '” end up like three apostrophes :D So, I think the best bet is to use … :P Wow! In this Torrent Freak, double apostrophes (”) ad quotation mark (”) look IDENTICAL… xD I think MS Word 2010 is one of a few software that can clearly differentiate ‘’ and “ … :D I’m a regular o.O.o user and I’m using Office 2010 trial version … :( It is far better than open office but :( who is having C$$$ ?! At first, my XPS 1645 (i7-740Q) had preinstalled starter but when I formatted, :( it vanished and I don’t know whether they ship a copy or not… :( If they don’t, then I’d rather stick to Open Office… :D And I’m also kinda hmmm lazy to type single quotation mark or apostrophe (whatever! LOL) two times and so, might have used double quotation marks… :D

But after starring at o.0.O foe extended minutes,(:D) because of utter confusion, I've found an alternative though it may seem “robotic” or in unfinished /html language/ if ya want... But here ya (or I?! LOL) go... Bold -> CAPS; Italics -> SLASHES (/); underlines -> UNDERSCORES (_) (though those two parenthesis make underscore look like ... xD) “to mark with a line or lines underneath; underline, as for emphasis.”

And talking about Neo, those trench-coats, those black glasses, ... heck! /stuxnet/ it may or may not 'wear' a 'tux' ... But it is also our (your?! :D) modern spy... 007 anyone?! Hope he is a good guy though Craig (though I like /that/ persona of Mr. Bond! :P) forces me to think other side... xD) So, would it be nice to see a /stux/ vs a /tux/ a evil stuxnet infected cyborg network vs the tuxedo wearing James bond ?! Hope M16 is not involved in the "making of stuxnet" as ya know... It mainly targets Iran but wait a sec... "About 1,600 of the current infections are in the U.S., he said." So, I think those US agencies are not that much CRUEL enough to infiltrate their own people, do they?! May be, in order to escape by pointing those cases in US ?! o_0 one thing is sure... Conspiracies are everywhere and ya can't overlook most of 'em.... There's no smoke without fire ... o_0 creepy... IS CYBERWAR STARTED ?! IS THIS THE BEGINNING OF WW3 ?! ah! Lets hope this WW3 must not cause any lives ... only "death simulations" like those "second" and third "lives" ... :D
