Any new news on when the utorrent for mac is coming out. Transmission is still working way too slow on my mac.

I’m using Transmission 1.01 and it is bad ass. I get 100kbs to 300kbs all the time. Average 150kbs. I will still get uTorrent for Mac when it comes. Note, use Bitjunkie it has the most seeds.

I’m using uTorrent Windows Edition on my Mac OSX via CrossOver Trial Edition which works for 30 days. IT IS 10 TIMES FASTER THAN AZUREUS! I got the instructions on running uTorrent at http://torrentfreak.com/how-to-run-utorrent-in-osx/ It is well worth your time to do this!!!

Azereus is just mad that it is sooooo slow and it takes up so much RAM. Please utorrent save me from Azereus soon.

Ah, finally!
I dropped Azureus for the Mac because it eats up your resources, and to be quite honest, that is about the only reason I see to change Torrent-clients at all.

I can also recommend Transmission, a very cool and light client, with an amazing arsenal of options beneath it’s friendly user-interface.

But, I will of course try ÂµTorrent!

don’t know bout ya but i got 2.4MB connection i tried all clients all sucks except Azureus from what i know i think Azureus Da Best torrent client ever…….

Btw, w/o describing the exact test procedure it’s a bit hard to believe any stats. Since default settings vary (such as number of connections, number of upload slots) and download speeds also depend on the swarm, luck (since clients are picked at random) etc. the your test results are not really trustworthy.

And then there are torrents where the client’s implementation doesn’t play a role at all: the overseeded ones.

So please be more careful when comparing speed…

The CPU/Memory consumption on the other hand is obvious ;)
