If you aren’t a troll then I don’t know who is. This is not an attempt on TF’s part to brand all judge’s and corporate trolls as child abusers. TF reported it because it is related to file sharing. This is what is site is for afterall.

The heinous beating is a result of the judge’s daughter downloading some music and games which aren’t even legally available for purchase. Why would TF let something as serious as this slide? I am sick to my stomach that the judge hasn’t been put behind bars on account of child abuse yet. There are people going to jail for copyright infringement and you’re telling me child abuse is not a crime? Is every 16 year old the property of their parents that they can do whatever they like and getaway with it?

We are not trying to say the state has no business in our lives. We have laws that dictate acceptable reasons for the state to meddle in our affairs. We are not trying to change the law of child abuse. We are trying to change the current copyright laws.

Stop defending this asshole. He broke laws that were written, and accepted by the government, and its people. For that, he deserves the punishment that has been deemed appropriate by the state, probably a lengthy jail sentence.

We wish to change the copyright laws, and maintain our internet privacy rights.

Why not? The government selectively enforces certain rights and doesn’t enforce others. If they enforced all rights, then they would do nothing, since there is always a right to oppose another right. For example, for me to keep my right to live, you must be denied the right to kill me. If both rights were to be allowed, then either they would arrest us or they would do nothing. This is a conflict. Obviously, if they didn’t enforce any rights then they would do nothing. The basis of all laws are to try to define what rights should be allowed an what rights should not be allowed.

To me it seems you are just anti-government and you won’t be happy until all laws are abolished. I hope you have protection then, because anyone who wishes to exercise their rights and has a bigger gun then you will be allowed to. Sure governments have corruption and the US is getting bad particularly on certain issues such as copyright, but that doesn’t mean government=bad.

Well, I stand corrected, I skipped an important paragraph.

Regardless, I don’t feel that your O’Reilly example is the same. TorrentFreak didn’t say that all judges were bad anywhere in the article. They did question that they may not all be paragons of justice, but that is all they did was question. Then, after this question, the went on to recant with that statement. That doesn’t seem so extreme to me.

Ok this has to be said. I am a good judge of character, especially on the internet partially I believe because I have kept myself away from the internet up until 3 years ago and I’ve always been able to see true colors in real life quickly, and unfortunately in many cases but it’s not my thoughts, many others have reciprocated these thoughts to me. Now to my point, Ashamed, please go practice something called sincerity and a actual true interest in something before you go trying to provoke something where there is no other side. I know myself you don’t believe what you say because you have a brain, even though it’s faulty you know, like we know. Now go back in your cave and pray to the cancer gods your balls don’t fall off. Ignoramus.
