I am new to torrents and I went on there and joined the forum and got answers to all my questions like pretty much that second.

with the influx of large groups of people they needed to increase the number of mods.

Great site, great staff unlike that jerk fukmininova loser.

As I said earlier, the site layout is great, look and feel is professional..once the junk torrent indexing becomes better with filtered results …more and more people will become regulars and start recommending the site to others !!!

BTW..the site seems down for quite sometimes now !

2 p2pfreakkk: We have fake/thanks system and comments which actually solve some of the fakes related problems. Also there are community moderators checking the site. We’re are constantly working on fakes problem and it will bother users less and less in time.

I checked out the site long back before TF reviewed it…the clean lay out attracted my attention which I thought was a nice alternative to another well designed site like mininova..

But the excitement was short-lived as I discovered more and more fake torrents once I dug deep into it..

This I guess is major problem with lot of other torrent indexing websites which are being launched recently
…some have too many fake torrents bearing names of popular uploaders, some have major reporting issues with hugely bloated number of seeders and leechers…

Since sites like TPB has uploaders ranked and are facilitated with helpful comments/ reviews ( which is also handled well in mininova and btjunkie with active user participations !!! )
Besides the above sites have uploader accounts which helps users to bookmark and go back to check updates ensuring they are not clicking a fake one …

Hence sites like KickassTorrents will have come up with features and solutions to address these problems !!!

One suggestion I have to the kickass admins ( if they are reading this ) would be to include a torrent rating system like BtJunkie or include comments if you are indexing from sites like TPB ( comments which are posted in that site ! )…Otherwise I will still stick to the old horses ( TPB, Mininova AND BtJunkie ) till Demonoid comes back !!!!!!!!

I like kickass torrents but unfortunately when they had their free bittorrent proxy httptorrents I never received any email that I got my files dl for me. Kickasstorrents did httptorrents work its problems out? Thanks. Love the site

That’s the reason why I think it can be dangerous to add a default site to the client search engine, the website can suffer of high traffic.

Same remark to people requesting a default tracker to add to a torrent loaded into the client, the tracker can be out of order fastly.

I don’t use Vuze, but I have used the site in the past and found the content pretty good. The search brought up better results than the bay, which is actually how I ended up there (TorrentFly result page).

Good job with the site, and good luck keeping it going in the future.
