How many of you people obsessed with VPN’s have actually heard about someone getting caught? I have been torrenting for over 8 years and, sure, I’ve received a bunch of silly FBI notices and threats, but I’ve never been arrested for downloading something. This is 2014. The torrent community is huge. NOBODY is going to get arrested for torrenting, unless you open your own tracker.

And by the way: Vuze is proprietary.

… well, you’re kinda right. The actual program is not proprietary, but some of the added features are.

In real grown-up world everyone would have the decency,respect for them selves and others,and balls to do what has to be done,not what someone might pressure you to do.
In fact,i take it back,as far as i know,vuze did it them selves. A torrent client going legit is like a rapist proclaiming to be Jesus.
Tixati is somewhat Lightweight,and it’s far from crippled,and for sure is not NOOB-friendly.

I’ve been looking for a new torrent client to replace Vuze. I’ve used it for many years but lately I just dont care for the program anymore. Whats the best alternative?
