When the site was first launched, a bunch of petitions regarding marijuana popped up and got enough signatures, and the WH just treated them all as one big petition and gave a canned response from the drug czar. That site is a mockery of our right to petition the government – they’re pretty much telling us that we have the right to speak, but not the right to be heard.
