Wiredset Launches BitTorrent Charts

Wiredset just launched their BitTorrent Charts service. They currently index more than 30,000 trackers and over 200 BitTorrent index sites. The charts are updated on a daily basis and include the 50 most popular TV, Anime, Video, music, Software, and Game torrents.

Wiredset just launched their BitTorrent Charts service. They currently index more than 30,000 trackers and over 200 BitTorrent index sites. The charts are updated on a daily basis and include the 50 most popular TV, Anime, Video, music, Software, and Game torrents.

BitTorrent chartsAt first glance the data seems to be pretty accurate are not very accurate, and it gives a good impression of what’s hot at the moment. The charts are based on the total number of seeds and peers.

Currently topping the charts in the Video section are The Davinci Code and Slither, and in the TV section the first season of Prison Break and the second season of Lost.

However, the same charts might be very informative to pirates as well, but he obviously didn’t mention that.

i sure trust these stats! the first season of prison break more popular than last night’s episode! Because there’s not like 100,000 people downloading last night’s eppy RIGHT THIS SECOND. in fact, last night’s episode isn’t even on the charts at all…

Heddy, you’re right. In fact I miss quite a lot of TV-shows in that list.
Where are lost, and heroes??

It could be that the charts didn’t include last night’s episode though.

if this company scrapes the figures regarding “traders” from a tracker like TPB… ;-)
