World’s first free HDTV show

MariposaHD is the first free TVshow available in HDTV format. The show is about the "adventures" of the Mariposa girls and totally depends on BitTorrent as a distribution method. This is the future of TV shows, and we hope many shows will follow this great example.

mariposaHD is the world’s first High Definition TV series distributed directly on the Internet. And it’s free. mariposaHD is recorded, edited, and distributed in the full 1920×1080 pixel resolution of the 1080istandard. We distribute mariposaHD using the BitTorrent peer-to-peer software. With a broadband Internet connection, you can download and watch mariposaHD on your PC, your HDTV, or even a video iPod.

If you don't like torrents try MP3 Fiesta. They hold nearly 67,000 albums from nearly 17,000 artists. Prices are around the $0.10 mark for single tracks with full albums coming in at roughly $1.00. Tracks are available from 192kbps and they take major credit cards and PayPal

Technically, you can do it with dialup too. It just takes longer. Dialup users are cool because they can upload as fast as they download and they usually aren’t behind NAT routers or firewalls.
