By this definition, the creation of the original copy is an act that does have commercial value. So how do I market and sell this original copy, seeing as how you would only let me make that sale once?

I agree, it is stupid for a company to place stupid errors in their software like a free update button, when they should have put in intelligent code to force the game client to connect to their server and check your registration key every time you play. Yeah.

Ture enough. I truly believe the developers when they pled their case. The stuff’s expensive. The fact that they haven’t turned to DRM or the anti-piracy lackeys speaks volumes. If they have to take it offline, then they have to take it offline.
