The auto manufacturers could just throw some money at the government to create a national VIN database. Every car manufactured would be entered into the database before it left the factory. Making it impossible for more than one person to register the car without a title from the previous owner.

Seems like that would be pretty much impossible for most people to get around if they planned on driving the car legally.

Melting plastic gives off toxic fumes: I wouldn’t want that thing in my home, until someone discovers some safer alternative.

Anybody with experience with parametric modeling, catia, rhino can get a fully working printable drm free version of whatever you like and just like sculpture, you can sculpt anything you like because its YOUR WORK! so you can share it for free. I haven’t seen Mercedes Benz charging turbosquid for all the 3d models they sell of their cars.
