Give me the option to give the artist the 80p they’d make if I buy a cd and cut out the major label completely and I’d be happy to give the artist their money. Thing is the artist doesn’t get any royalties because their label has cut off the fans connection infact its likely to stop the fan buying tickets or ordering merchandise from the website. Alongside the fan probably being disenchanted anyway.
