One of them being the “Hollywood Accounting” scheme where they sell their own production to a distributor (which is actually owned by themselves) at a price higher than their profits so that they can actually claim they are loosing money and avoid paying taxes.

Even worse is that the government, the one losing on tax money, will applaud and forget this the very second they claim record-breaking profits and ticket sales a few months after. Just like they’ll also forget those amazing numbers so quickly that they’ll panic when Hollywood comes crying because of huge imaginary losses because of file-sharing just a few moments later.
