@ 33 (neo) – And did your legally purchased copy of Avatar on Blu-Ray (its not Blue Ray, BTW), work on your player, or did the DRM prevent it from doing so, even with a firmware update?

Because that’s what a lot of people who purchased it found out, and ended up returning their copies to the store where they bought it.

I bought a copy of Avatar in the shop. It didn’t work due to some new DRM thing so I had to take it back for a refund. The Pirate Bay copy works perfectly, so I’m watching that instead.

Hopefully whoever is responsible for anti-piracy efforts at 20th Century Fox will be sacked for this spectacular failure. If he had done nothing, they would have had £14.99 of my money, but they did do something, and they don’t have my money.
