I guess you are right about the value of our rights, however, shooting the wrong people will not help that (like the shooting in a theatre as stated before), So violence will become normal as soon as some MAFIAA or other idiotic consortium lites the fuse of the gunpowder barrel when it is actually filled totally, we are not there yet, people still have a false form of experiencing freefom in their current life.
As soon as the majority of people get troubles feeding themselves, the barrel is full and it will explode as soon as even a futile little thing of disonesty will hit the media.
So just sit back and wait and see history enfold itself or try to do something now by voting for political parties that value civil / human rights.
And of course when you are smart (high IQ) get as much babies as you can (see the movie IDIOCRACY woehaha :D )
