CashU already sounded fishy from the start. Especially with VPN, I don’t understand why anyone who takes their privacy seriously would use anything other than Bitcoin for payment. Everything else would be tracked.
You make a good, tiny point.

It does say "begins."

It just doesn't say "when."

Hahaha.

As for your assertion that Ernesto be required to ask about things which are not relevant to the average TF reader, you must be joking.

One of the things a journalist learns is this:

Know Your Audience

You haven't a clue.

Perhaps English is not your first language, or you're simply too stupid to read. It's pretty obvious you didn't even read the subject of the article you are referring to:

"PAYSAFECARD BEGINS BANNING VPN PROVIDERS"

Do you know what 'begins' mean?

Hahaha.

"As for your complaint on this article (and you're the one bringing it up as though it is your 'area of expertise,') how about you ask Cashu how they can "permit one product and not the other?""

Why the heck would i? Am I the writer, who tries to be a journalist? No i'm not! These questions are indeed relevant to the issue and it's incredible that a media like TorrentFreak can't email them and ask such relevant questions.

Niklas - The fellow who doesn't care about "reading for comprehension."

I think you just have a raging erection for calling out imaginary slights.

Let's consider your comment on a previous article on TF regarding Paysafecard where you said:

"And calling an at least 2 year old ban as something new is just straight out stupid. When such basic fact checking are failing harrd, what else in the stories they bring is just made up bullsh*t?"

"Get your facts straight and stop trolling Ernesto!"

https://torrentfreak.com/paysafecard-begins-banning-vpn-providers-130825/#comment-1018775736

This is what Ernesto actually said:

"Paysafecard is the first payment method to confirm a VPN ban."

See that word "confirm" in the above sentence? Perhaps English is not your first language and you somehow missed the connotation. It doesn't mean Ernesto is saying it's "something new."

To "confirm" means: Establish the truth or correctness of (something previously believed, suspected, or feared to be the case).

Got that?

As for your complaint on this article (and you're the one bringing it up as though it is your 'area of expertise,') how about you ask Cashu how they can "permit one product and not the other?"

Again, it's a matter of the connotation. TorrentFreak has had several VPN sponsors -- most people know a VPN provider in its simplest form -- of which none provide the type of service you spotlight.

Am I nitpicking?

No more than you are, so let me say in advance that hitting me back with that isn't going to matter in the least.

Chill out and let the gist and intent of the articles speak for themselves. When you do find something of critical import let us know, mkay? You've as yet to know the difference.

Insurance companies don't say "We can't insure you on that as it may be part of unknown criminal activity". Copyright infringement isn't even a criminal offence so why are they so bothered? Oh yeah, the entertainment industry have bullied them into it.

Service providers of all kinds need to start banding together and doing some of their own lobbying. ASAP.
