comcast has now sent me 3 dmca letters in quick succession, (my first in 12 years just under 2 months ago, and now 2 more in 2 days).. all 3 were HBO/Cinemax tv shows.

“Comcast is playing ball with, and actively aiding those who monitor.” (direct quote, just scroll up) They’re wasting time, money and resources at the expense of their customers.
If Comcast didn’t feel they had to pay for all of that extra garbage it stands to reason that they wouldn’t have to charge their customers what they currently do.

You said Comcast was doing the monitoring. That is what I was referring to. Comcast is not involved in monitoring its customers.
