Anyone who thinks that Comcast played this off real slick needs to think a bit more out of the box. Everyone that can just take the money.

If you end up getting charged for anything Comcast will have just admitted that they have the ability to not only log illegal downloads on their network but identify each and every one of them. This would be a retarded move to make, though they are pretty dumb. I would personally counter sue on ignorance because they did not let me know it was illegal. The **AA’s of the world would sue in a second to have every illegal download blocked. And finally this would be the largest “facilitation” to commit a crime ever recorded as they would admit it happened and they allowed it without even a warning.

I switched from Crapcast Cable to Verizon DSL 6 months ago. I got the Dish Network and totally told Crapcast to stuff it!

I am going to tell Comcast the same thing the French Government Anti Piracy group told the press when it was discovered that they had used an already copyright protected logo for their own logo… it was a “manipulation error”.. sorry Comcast it was a manipulation error on my part……CLASSIC……..

A lot of people can’t switch because Comcast is the only ISP in the area.

There’s 2 others in my area and I’m going to be switching soon.

I don’t think they’re in a position to make demands. The sheer arrogance is astonishing. How can they claim the moral high ground and sit in judgement of us with such a self-righteous attitude, when they were caught breaking the law.
