I always laugh my ass off when I see someone trying to justify what they’re leeching. “I dont have the money for luxuries”, “They’d just be glad their work is getting experienced”, “when I love something, I find a way to purchase it”.

Give me a break. Your logic can be picked apart so easily it’s nearly dizzying.

Just be fucking honest: You’d rather copy shit and get it free than pay for it.

Bulls***! I download for a few reasons, Firstly because established torrent publishers rip movies better than I can (I like to have a central discless library on my pc) Secondly because I dont have the money for luxuries, Its the truth. (and if content creators were still true Artists they wouldnt care! They’d just be glad their work is getting experienced) BUT when I love something, I find a way to purchase it! And even if I just ‘like’ something, I recommend it to others, But I dont suggest they download it or even tell them that I downloaded it.
So through my ‘illegal’ downloading, I end up increasing their sales through recommendations. And none of us deserve to be monitored.

If the copyright people cant take down the servers and whatnot that handle ‘torrenting’ :-P Well then thats just too damn bad for them isnt it.

I just received the same kind of email from my net provider on Friday. Thing is I deleted the one movie and this morning, Monday, I got the same email sent to me. I’m freaking out because I never had this warning and also I haven’t got the movie on my hard drive anymore and the torrent file and folder have been deleted as well. There’s nothing in the torrent program either.

What can I do now?

I received one today by Xfinity comcast today moral of the story is I’ll just take a laptop to the local wifi hot spot I.E. Mcdonalds, coffee house, Panera to do all my file sharing. Ill be switching back to WOW internet too.

I received 5 letters similar to this. The files it said I was supposed to have downloaded do not exist on my computer and never have! Is this a legitimate letter from Comcast?
