The book 1984 presented a reality in it’s own time that was viewed as scary as it should have been viewed. You read it now, and it really isn’t that far off from how things already are and are becoming. Many people that are doing well in this current society see nothing wrong with it. Fascism: We’ll just do it right this time, it won’t get out of control.. it will work well this time.. we got this.. The comfortable will cling to it and everyone else will see it for what it is- a prison with shrinking walls

It’s serious stuff because if you don’t take it seriously now, it will be too late later if it’s not already. It’s like the frog in a pan of slowly heating water. It will sit in the pan without getting out until the pan boils and it dies. The frog is potentially us. Why does this happen? As history has shown, just like many things in life, people have a built in defense mechanism called DENIAL. Denial is what allows people to become addicted to things and in the past is what allowed fascism to take hold. This is the mistake people make over and over and over again not learning from it. “It Couldn’t Happen Here..” “We’re better than that.. ” “This is America” “We’re free, the most free country on earth” “We’re number 1!” “Nothing wrong with me” etc etc. and pretty soon, yup you guessed it. oops.. how’d that happen.. did not see that coming!” German’s did it back in the day.. “don’t question things, we need to invade other countries, it’s all the jews fault!” etc etc.. Oops. Like in the movie Scarface: “Never underestimate… THE OTHER GUYS GREED !” Power has been corrupted and it won’t get better until the root of that corruption is taken out. It will simply grow and infect everything else. That is how it happens.. like a virus.

yeah the copyright nazis must be spending a ton of money wasted on chasing and policing their own customers lol what a buncha of utter f’ng morons. The human race is truly a doomed species based on sheer greed and stupidity alone. hello police state USA! ironic that the country that is losing the most freedom at break neck pace likes to chirp about freedom all day long even as it continues going quickly down the drain. Corporations have essentially performed a coup on the US government and now run everything. MUrikans don’t even see it because they’ve been dumbed down and imprisoned. Even after all the lessons in history, we’ve managed to repeat the old fascism dance yet again.. head slap! good job merikans! good job. The only thing that will save us now is a fight between the haves and have nots. Good thing the have nots have the numbers :) the arrogant elitists in this country are preparing in secret and plan to run away and hide. Don’t let them get away without a good swift kick to the as* on their way out. They deserve it.
